After suffering two heartbreaks against Pakistan and Bangladesh in their first two Super Four encounters, Afghanistan ensured they ended their 2018 Asia Cup campaign on a happier note as they secured a thrilling last-over tie against powerhouses India at the Dubai International Stadium on Tuesday. Captain Asghar Afghan said he was proud of the way his team played in the tournament and that they will look to go all the way to the final in the next edition of the competition. "We were unlucky not to win the last two games (against Pakistan and Bangladesh) but the way we played against India, I am proud of the boys. It is a historic moment for Afghanistan as we have never played like this before in the Asia Cup and next time we will aim to make it to the finals."
