WATCH | R P Singh Explains Why Reverse Swing has Gone Missing in ODI Cricket

Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar recently said that the two new ball rule in 50-over cricket should be done away with as it makes the format batsman friendly. The moot point of Tendulkar's argument was that fast bowlers are unable to get the ball to 'reverse swing', which used to be a key aspect of the format. This has tilted the scale in batsmen's favour. So what exactly is reverse swing and how can one master this art? Cricketnext met up with former India paceman RP Singh at his cricket academy in Greater Noida. Singh, who played a key role in India's 2007 WT20 triumph, explains the what and how of reverse swing and why the two new ball rule should be done away with.
