Team India finished the opening day’s play of the first Test on a high, having picked nine English wickets — six of them coming in the last session. Speaking at the post-match conference Shami not only praised Ashwin for the way he bowled, but also said that he was happy to get back in rhythm. England batsman Keaton Jennings feels that the English bowlers must come back strongly and take the attack to the Indian batsmen on the second day.
