India have announced a 15-member squad for the two-Test series against the Windies that begins on October 4. The squad is on expected lines with Shikhar Dhawan dropped after a poor tour to England for the younger lot in Prithvi Shaw and Mayank Agarwal. The bowling unit also bears a newer look with Mohammed Siraj coming in while Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar have been rested after a long summer. The one omission from the setup which is quite baffling though is that of Karun Nair who was in the Test squad for the England series but did not get a game and now sees himself out. Network 18 Group Editor Sports, Gaurav Kalra discusses the make of the 15-man squad also pointing out that the Nair situation could have been handled better.
