Ever since his Test debut in 2013 against Australia, India opener Shikhar Dhawan has been in the news for his erratic form. After bursting on the scene with a scintillating 187 at Mohali, Dhawan hit a low could score only one ton in the next 22 innings. In that time India toured South Africa, England, Australia and his struggle to score runs outside Asia was palpable. The trend still continues as he could only manage 39 runs in the first Test against England at Lord's. With the likes of Mayank Agarwal and Prithvi Shaw waiting in the wings, Dhawan could soon be shown the door.
