Japanese car manufacturer, Datsun has launched redi-Go 1.0L at starting price of Rs 3.57 lakh (ex-showroom). The new redi-Go 1.0L is updated version of 800cc redi-Go which was launched last year. Powered by a 1.0L three-cylinder fuel efficient iSAT engine paired with a five-speed manual transmission, the new redi-GO 1.0L now delivers 68 PS of power and a commendable 91 Nm of torque, which is higher than the segment leader Maruti Suzuki Alto K10.
In terms of looks, the car looks are pretty much identical to the 800cc model. It looks sharp and it is the only car to offer Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) in its segment. The new redi-Go 1.0L now comes with remote keyless entry and five exterior colour options. The car is available in 2 variants S and T(O), after the launch of these two variants redi-Go range in India now has 7 variants.
The interiors now get a blacked-out treatment with silver accents on the AC vents and the steering wheels similar to the 800cc model. The boot space remains identical at 222 litres.
In this segment, the car competes with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 and Renault KWID 1.0L.
