GST : Royal Enfield Revises Prices Across It's Range

After the implementation of Goods and Services Tax, most of the automakers across India have revised their prices according to the certain tax bracket.

Just like most of the automakers in the country, Royal Enfield has also revised prices across its model range post-GST. As the GST rate on a two-wheeler is 2 percent lower as compared to the previous tax system and under the new tax reform two-wheeler under 350 cc draws tax of 28 percent and motorcycles above 350cc draw an additional cess of 3 percent, making the total to 31 percent.

As per the revised rates in Chennai, Thunderbird 350 gets the biggest price cut of Rs 2,165 followed by Bullet Electra and Classic 350 with a price cut of Rs 2,211 and Rs 2,015 respectively. On the other hand Bullet 500, Classic 500, Classic Desert Strom, Classic Chrome, Thunderbird 500, Continental GT and the Himalayan have now become a bit expensive. The Royal Enfield Himalayan gets the maximum price hike of Rs 2717 and the Continental GT gets the minimum price hike of Rs 301.
