While there is a spate of cars lined up to be launched in India this year, we bring you those that will make its way to India very soon - with some of them even up for pre-booking. Here is a list of cars that are scheduled to be launched in India in the next 30 days; i.e., by late August.

Hyundai Creta

Hyundai says it has received over 10,000 pre-bookings for its upcoming mass market sports utility vehicle Creta, which is all set to debut in India on July 21. The Hyundai Creta will compete with the offerings, including Ford Ecosport, Renault Duster, Nissan Terrano and Mahindra Scorpio, Mahindra XUV500 and Tata Safari Storme, which are in a price range of Rs 6.75 lakh to Rs 15.99 lakh. The Creta has been designed and developed in Korea, while the company's engineers in Hyderabad and Chennai helped to customise it for the Indian conditions.

Ford Figo Aspire

The Figo Aspire arrives late to the compact sedan party but has the potential to do well and appeal to a lot of compact sedan buyers. The car looks smart, is good on quality, drives well, offers powerful and efficient engines and most importantly, gets a long list of standard safety and comfort features. It will go on sale in August.

Maruti Suzuki S-Cross

This crossover is another attempt at the premium segment by Maruti Suzuki after the Kizashi and Grand Vitara failed to hit the mark. The launch is expected to happen in early August with the sales and delivery being handled by a network of Nexa showrooms which, Maruti Suzuki says, will give a premium automotive experience to the customers. We expect the S-Cross' ex-showroom prices to be between Rs 8.5 lakh and Rs 11 lakh. The booking amount for the S-Cross is Rs 11,000.

Fiat Abarth 595

With the popularity of hot hatches like the Mini Cooper slowly growing in India, Fiat will enter the playing field on August 4 with its Abarth 595 Competizione. This hot hatch is essentially a Fiat 500 that packs a lot more punch than its sibling. The 595 will sport Abarth branding on the exterior and on the inside as well, 17 inch alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tyres, a sporty new front bumper and a rear spoiler along with all the other regular creature comforts inside the car of course. The 595 will be sold as a CBU in India, but Fiat plans on launching the Abarth Punto Evo and Abarth Avventura which should be manufactured at the Ranjangaon plant here in India.

The new BMW X6

BMW India is all set to launch its recently updated X6 in Bangalore on July 23. On the outside, this X6 has the basic essence of the previous model, but with a lot of nifty new details added to it – LED headlamps, gills and also the more prominent shark-nose BMW signature. The interiors get a minor update too with new wood trims and a new steering wheel, but the rest of it isn’t changed from the previous X6 and the new X5.

Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe

The Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe which replaced the Mercedes CL internationally will finally hit the Indian market on July 30. The two-door version of the remarkable S-Class will be launched in two variants – the S 500 and the more performance oriented S 63 AMG. Along with the S-Class Coupe, Mercedes will be launching the G 63 AMG with new paint shades.

Mahindra Thar

The 2015 Mahindra Thar will be launched in India on July 22. The new model will get both cosmetic and mechanical alterations. The Mahindra Thar will be offered with a hard-top option this time as this seemed to be quite a popular modification made by previous Thar owners. Other major changes to the exterior will be new bumpers, fender extensions and also a slight tilt at the rear-end of the canopy. On the inside, the Thar borrows some equipment like air-con controls, a steering wheel and hand-brake and gear levers from the Bolero. Apart from this, it gets new chrome-ringed AC vents that are placed in the beige and grey themed centre console and a new chrome-ringed instrument cluster. These changes are a big improvement on the previously primitive interior.
