Tesla is also set to roll out its new high-volume Model 3 sedan as it has passed all regulatory requirements for production two weeks ahead of the schedule. As per Tesla’s Chief Executive Elon Musk’s tweet, the first Model 3 is expected to roll out this Friday.

He also tweeted that first 30 customers of the Model 3 sedan will get it by 28th of July. As per Musk’s vision, Tesla will be able to reach at a production rate of 20,000 Model 3 cars per month by year end.

Priced around $35,000, Model 3 is Tesla’s most affordable car as of now and it can be reserved at a minimal amount of $1,000.
As the world is moving towards more sustainable electric vehicles, Tesla is creating a separate league in this segment as it’s the first company to make an all-electric SUV with a 5-star rating in crash tests. This year the company has also completed 5 years of their Model S sedan that was a first production Electric Vehicle with a 200-mile+ range between charges. Other automakers across the world are also trying to catch up with Tesla pace and are looking forward to a more sustainable fuel options for the cars.
Recently, Zhejiang Geely Holding Group-owned Volvo said all car models it launches after 2019 will be electric or hybrids, making it the first major traditional automaker to set a date for phasing out vehicles powered solely by the internal combustion engine.
As of now, Tesla Model 3 is also expected to tap the doors of Indian market soon but the cost of this new electric sedan in India will cost somewhere around Rs 30 lakh which is quite high as per the Indian market conditions.
