Even though the Harry Potter author JK Rowling was outed last year as the author of 'Cuckoo's Calling', published under pen name Robert Gailbraith, she will retain the pseudonym for her upcoming crime fiction novel 'The Silkworm'.
Publisher Little, Brown describes Rowling's latest venture as "a compulsively readable crime novel with twists at every turn".
People hardly took notice of Rowling's first crime novel 'Cuckoo's Calling' initially. However, the sales of the book skyrocketed when it was disclosed that Rowling was the author of the book. Her identity as the author of the book was leaked on Twitter and Rowling sued those who disclosed the information. She won the case and donated the damages she was given to charity.
'The Silkworm' will be published on June 19 in the UK and June 24 in the US.
