5 Things You Should Look Forward to in the 'Game of Thrones' Season Finale

''You're in the great game now. And the great game is terrifying.''

*This post is dark and full of spoilers*

After an action packed adrenaline-rush filled 9th episode, we are ready for the season finale of 'Game of Thrones'. As a whole, the season has been mediocre at best, but the 9th episode evened things out and the 10th one looks pretty promising!

The trial of Loras Tyrell and Cersei Lannister will finally take place and with trial by option being no longer an option how does Margaery plan to save her brother, and Cersei Lannister, herself? Will the clash with the faith militants and the High Sparrow finally happen?

With Riverrun in their control, and the Black Fish dead, the Freys are at the peak of their powers. In fact, they are at the exact point where the Boltons stood a couple of seasons ago. What is more ominous is the fact that Walder Frey raises a toast with a phrase that has raised chills ever since the 'Red Wedding'.

Jon Snow and Sansa Stark may have won back Winterfell, but at what cost did Sansa manage to muster the army of the Vale? An army that belongs to Petyr Baelish now.

As we saw in the 9th episode, Ser Davos discovers the toy he had made for Shireen, Stannis' daughter, who was burnt alive as a sacrifice to the Lord of the Light, as advised by Melisandre.

Ser Davos' inability to save her had weighed on his conscience for long and he will finally confront her. But will the confrontation end with mere words, or will there be retribution on this front as well?

And finally, with the Greyjoy alliance, Daenerys finally has the means to reach Westeros and legitimize her claim over the Iron Throne. But there is more than the narrow sea that separates Westeros from Essos. The politics on the other side of the narrow sea is poisonous.

She is finally going to play the game of thrones, but is she ready? At least she has Tyrion Lannister's wisdom on her side.

The more one watches the preview, the more the anticipation builds. Will these questions be answered next week, or do we have to wait an entire year to quench our curiosity? The drama is just too much to handle now!
