New York Magazine's The Cut has taken down the article on Priyanka Chopra after it received widespread criticism for the deliberate poor light in which the actor was portrayed.

The article which was headlined "Is Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’s Love for Real?" started by calling Chopra a 'scam artist' who allegedly tricked a naive and young Jonas into a lifelong commitment when all he really wanted was a fling.

The now removed page is now an Editor’s Note: Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas.

The text at the bottom reads:

"Upon further editorial review, we found this story did not meet our standards. We’ve removed it and apologize."

The article had garnered a lot of backlash, with people pointing out how it was very xenophobic, sexist and deeply problematic.

While the article was "Reviewed" and people are more than happy to see it go, but people also feel that perhaps just taking the article down isn't enough.
