New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi may have finalised the Chief Ministers of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh but Twitter seems unimpressed.

After three days of deliberations, the Congress chief zeroed in on Ashok Gehlot for Rajasthan and Kamal Nath for MP. But the question doing the rounds on social media is: What about Chhattisgarh?

The Congress wrested the three states from the BJP in the recent Assembly elections. However, the decision to appoint CMs for the respective states took a little longer than expected with CM candidates in both states giving tough competition to each other - Sachin Pilot was the second contender to Ashok Gehlot for the CM's chair in Rajasthan while Jyotiraditya Scindia had competition in Kamal Nath in MP.

However, Gandhi finally arrived at the decision on Wednesday. He even shared photos with the four CM contenders.

First, he tweeted a photo with the MP contenders, Scindia and Nath, with a Leo Tolstoy quote as the caption: "The two most powerful warriors are patience and time".

After that, the Congress chief got clicked with the Rajasthan contenders: Gehlot and Pilot. This one was captioned, "The united colours of Rajasthan".

While the images were widely shared on social media, many on Twitter were left wondering about Chhattisgarh, the state that has seems to have received the least attention since the declaration of results. With former CM, BJP's Raman Singh, dethroned, the CM's chair in Chhattisgarh is awaiting a new CM.

Even in Chhattisgarh, the competition is between two Congress loyalists, Chhattisgarh Pradesh chief Bhupesh Baghel and TS Singh Deo. After Gandhi's photo tweeting spree on Twitter, many were left asking when the photo of Chhattisgarh would be shared.

But overall, the mood on social media was merry and jocular.
