Aida Hadzialic fled from war as a child; she is now the youngest minister of Sweden at just the age of 27

The 27-year-old education minister is now the youngest person ever to serve as a minister in Sweden.

Aida Hadzialic was five years old when her family fled from war in Bosnia-Herzegovina. The Swedish politician for the Social Democrats is now the Minister for Upper Secondary School and Adult Education Initiative in Sweden.A law graduate from the University of Lund, Hadzialic became the deputy mayor of the Swedish city Halmstad at the age of 23. The 27-year-old is now the youngest person ever to serve as a minister in Sweden.The minister says she became a social democrat because of the Swedish welfare model that gave her family new opportunities to start afresh after they fled from war.
