It's finally a sunny day over this Andhra man's farm.

In an unusual technique to ward off the evil eye and protect his crops from the gaze of the passerby, Ankinapally Chenchu Reddy, an Andhra Pradesh farmer, has installed two huge posters of the former adult film actress and current Bollywood celeb Sunny Leone in a red bikini.

Not just that, there's also a message on the "scarecrow" posters. “Orey, nannu chusi edavakura (Hey, don’t cry or feel jealous of me)!”

“This year, I have a good crop on 10 acres. This has been attracting unnecessary attention of villagers and passersby. To ward off their evil eye, I thought of this idea of putting up the big flax poster of Sunny Leone a couple of days ago,” Hindustan Times quoted Reddy.

The strategy is apparently working for him. “The trick has worked. Nobody is looking at my crop now,” he further adds.

The farm, where he grows cabbage, cauliflower, chillies, is located in Bandakindipally village in Nellore district.

“Year after year, I would suffer losses because of a poor yield. The crops looked healthy for some time, but then something would go wrong,” Reddy told Ahmedabad Times.

Needless to say, people had a good laugh after the photo of Reddy posing next to Sunny hit the social media.

Twitterati hailed him for his unique technique.

However, this isn't the first time Sunny Leone has come in handy.

In 2016, Sree Narayana Polytechnic College in Kerala's Kollam district put up a banner to greet the new batch of students featuring photos of adult film star Mia Khalifa and Sunny Leone.

The banner read "Welcome Freshers" in Malayalam.
