An Australian amputee was forced to confront an elderly lady and show her his prosthetic leg when she questioned his disabled parking permit. Paniora Nukunuku is a social media influencer and social worker based in Sydney and said that an elderly lady knocked on his window, demanding to know if the disabled parking permit in his windscreen was really his. The incident happened at a Mcdonald’s outlet.
Sharing the entire incident’s video on TikTok, Paniora asked, “Why do old people think they’re the disability police?”
The man was challenged by the woman while he was sitting in his car. In the video, he states how the lady asked him if the disability card was his and proceeds to show his prosthetic leg to the viewers, asking if that was enough.
Paniora followed the woman inside the McDonalds outlet to confront her and show her his missing leg. “Let’s go see her face when she finds out I have only one leg,”he says before approaching her, pulling the hem of his shorts.
After spotting her, he asks, “Did you approach me because I wasn’t disabled enough?” to which she replies negatively. The woman says, “I will tell you why I am asking you because I desperately need it. There have been times… please listen to me,”. But he cuts her off mid-sentence saying, “I have got one leg and you come up to me asking if this card is mine?”
The woman says that she did because she has the right to. The man corrects her saying she doesn’t have the right to do that. he adds that she doesn’t need to worry about it if there is a card attached on the car. The man suggests her to not repeat her behaviour again.
Paniora asks if she approached him because he wasn’t old or looked disabled.

As per Daily Mail, Paniora requested McDonalds for the surveillance footage of the woman approaching his vehicle but the company refused to do so unless requested by law enforcement.
Police said they couldn’t help Paniora as the woman didn’t commit any crime and now, Paniora is urging his followers to ask McDonalds to hand him the footage.
