Boot-Cut Jeans Are Apparently Making a Comeback and No One is Excited

People believe that the '90s rage won't make the cut in 2018.

Updated:December 5, 2018, 6:26 PM IST

When Shah Rukh Khan rocked boot-cut pants on his first day of college in Main Hoon Na, he was subjected to giggles and mockery for being "outdated". Some called him 'uncle' and many others thought he was their new teacher. That was back in 2004.

14 years later, boot-cut jeans are apparently making a comeback, and exactly 0 people are excited about it.

The news broke when a GQ report on boot-cut jeans being resurrected from the grave surfaced on Twitter.

According to GQ, Balenciaga designer, Demna Gvasalia, has included this 'vintage apparel' in the fashion brand's spring lookbook, calling it "flowy-bottomed jeans".

"It’s easy to see why Gvasalia might have picked this particular moment in fashion to resurrect boot-cut denim. This year has brought on a pants revolution within the world of menswear. Guys are opting for jazzed-up tan chinos, wavy pleated trousers, and contemporary cargo pants," noted GQ.

Fashion enthusiasts took some time off from their work to express their dissatisfaction on Twitter.

The model posing with the jeans wasn't hyped himself.
