The famous British chef Marco Pierre White, the man known for winning Michelin stars but better remembered for returning them, needs no introduction. Famous for his features on shows like Hell’s Kitchen and Masterchef Australia, the legendary chef who gave up his 3 Michelin stars to pursue his food journey across the globe is a mentor, judge and chef all rolled into one.
White is an inspiration to generations of young chefs entering the industry and has a huge fan following on social media too. The man is known for his unconventional ways and who is set to change the face of modern fine dining. He is on a mission to make food affordable and accessible to all.
Two days ago, the chef shared a peculiar video on his Instagram handle showing his followers how to crack an egg. Sitting across a table with a dozen eggs in an egg tray, a large glass bowl, and a plate, the man is simply breaking all eggs one by one patiently and placing the broken eggshells on top of one another making a large stack.
Similar to some of his earlier video, White is sitting in front of a huge signboard reading –William Allen Fish- and then rolls his sleeves up with a stern expression, takes an egg, cracks it on the table, empties it in the bowl and places the shells on the plate.
The video is more than 2 minutes 30 seconds long but still, the plain act of breaking eggs open has been viewed more than 70,000 times and has over 7000 likes and 400 comments.
The video has attracted some pretty interesting and hilarious comments from viewers. One of the users told White to blink twice if he is being held, hostage. Many others asked if he was alright while another stated that the man is going through it.’ Another concerned user stated that lockdown has got to the chef and he seems bored.
One person asked him to make another video on ‘How to drink water’ while another confessed to watching the video on loop.
