Spelling mistakes can be embarrassing, especially on a wedding itinerary. Yet, that is exactly what happened to a couple who recently got married.

The couple by the names of Jason and Theresa has set up a lovely itinerary for their wedding. It was all planned. The simple yet elegant itinerary card was bottle green with loopy, golden print. It announced that that wedding was scheduled for 3 pm, followed by dinner at 5.30 pm and party at 6.30. But that wasn't all.

Between the wedding ceremony and dinner, the couple had inserted another event at 3.30 pm. 'Horse ovaries'. Yes, the wedding itinerary contained the words 'horse ovaries'. It could only be presumed that the guest were intended to eat them!

The spelling mistake has since gone viral on social media. It is evident that the couple had tried, unsuccessfully, to spell hors'd oeuvres. Known variously as canapes, these finger foods are often served as appetizers before big meals to pique one's appetite.

However, the itinerary must surely have piqued the imagination of the guests with the wrongly spelt word.

One person commented, "Not surprised that they banned cell phones. Horse ovaries are best when not eaten in public." Another said that tit was a wonder that the no one caught that mistake before the card went to print.
