Man Giving Water to Thirsty Squirrel as it Holds on to His Arm is Melting Hearts on Internet

Wholesome videos of good samaritans helping animals are enough to make your day and one such video is doing rounds on the Internet winning people’s hearts. The heart-warming video will make you smile and restore your faith in humans. The clip was originally shared on TikTok but went viral after it was reshared on Twitter by entertainment publicist Danny Deraney on March 19. “Because you want to see a man give water to a baby squirrel,” Danny wrote in the caption while sharing the 1-minute-long clip. It shows a man sitting on a road helping a squirrel drink water from a bottle while it holds the man’s hand. He then comforts the squirrel by caressing its head as it climbs on his hand.

The rodent sits on his hands gently while drinking more water and almost falls back on the ground while doing so. The video ends with the squirrel climbing on the man’s arm, resting its head as he pets it with a huge grin on his face.

Since being shared, the video has managed to gather more than 3.6 million views on Twitter and netizens are praising the man for helping the little animal. It has over 2.5 lakh likes, and has been tweeted more than 64,000 times. “This is my hooman now,” reads one of the comments on the viral clip.

Many complimented the man and thanked him for the kind gesture.
