With our faces constantly buried in our smartphone screens to 'capture the moment', are we really living in the moment?

Easily one of the best rivalries in the Premier League, Manchester United came head to head with Arsenal on Wednesday night and played to a 2-2 draw, in a match rife with missed opportunities.

Fans in the stadium were witnessing something special, as it was the first clash since 1986 that featured no Alex Ferguson or Arsene Wenger in the dugout.

Arsenal looked to be on top after taking the lead in the 68th minute (2-1), with Marcos Rojo playing the key role. ManU, however, responded immediately as Jesse Lingard cut through Arsenal's defense to score an equaliser, keeping his team very much in the game.

Naturally, Lingard celebrated the goal and Manchester United quickly took to Twitter to share the photograph.

"not a cellphone in sight, just people living in the moment," ManU's official account tweeted.

With emotions running high, the club failed to notice that there were in fact, people using cellphones in the photo and they were not really... "living in the moment".

And so armed with zoomed-in screenshots, the Twitterati decided to play party pooper.
