Mumbai Police's Twitter account is a gift that keeps on giving.

Its accounts (including Facebook) have regularly posted about grave issues such as traffic safety, cyberstalking, anti-drugs campaign etc with a dose of humour.

With its clever puns and pop culture references, ranging from Game of Thrones to F.R.I.E.N.D.S, Mumbai Police's social media accounts have kept up with viral trends and how.

Now, in their latest take, the cops have joined the newest meme on the desi web-- 'Ghar Se Nikalte Hi', which works on the lines of how people get out of their houses and turn into a completely different version of themselves in the process and executed it to perfection.

Of course, the meme comes with an important message.

With more than 6500 retweets, it is safe to say their entry to the trend has been received rather well on the microblogging site.



















Earlier this week, the meme took the social media by storm and several netizens came forward with their own hilarious versions.

The lyrics of "Ghar se nikalte hi" from 1996 movie Papa Kehte Hain, recently popularised again by Amaal Mallik and Armaan Malik, have been incorporated to the meme.
