Musician Amber Coffman has captured a stunning meteor shower at Taos in New Mexico.

Sharing the short clip on Twitter, Amber said, “Guys, we just saw one of the craziest things we have ever seen in our lives and I managed to capture some of it. A meteor for the ages!”

As many would have expected, the video did go viral in no time. Shared on July 29, the clip has already garnered more than three million views and two lakh likes.

Netizens too have expressed their amazement in the comments. A user who had a similar experience said, “Absolutely great...Congrats to you for witnessing it..Had a similar incident where we heard the sound of one falling couple of kms near us..Like a big impact...There was minimum coverage for it..Don't know what the material properties were...It happened in kerala, India in 2016”

Another person who seemed to be curious about meteors asked, “That’s so rare that u saw it! Looks like a meteor that didn’t break up in the upper atmosphere and disintegrated and burned just b4 it hit the ground! U hear of anyone getting any fragments from it???”

Replying to his query, Amber said, “To our eyes it appeared to break apart over the mountains out in the national forest- would be extremely difficult to find/get to the exact spot! But that would be rad”.
