The Pune Police Commissioner won hearts on the internet for his sensible answer to an innocent question asked to him during a live interaction on microblogging site Twitter.
On March 8, Monday, Pune police commissioner Amitabh Gupta went live on Twitter as a part of #LetsTalkCPPuneCity initiative and during the live interaction with the people, a person requested Gupta to ‘do something’ to convince his friend to accept his love proposal.
But Gupta’s thoughtful response is earning him more respect and applause. Gupta told the person that without the girl’s consent he couldn’t be of any help and advised the man not to do anything against her will. On March 8, Gupta wrote on Twitter “Unfortunately, without her consent, we can’t be of any help. Nor should you do anything against her will.” He further added that if the girl agrees someday to the proposal, the boy has his best wishes and blessings and added the tweet with, ‘#ANoMeansNo.’
The original Tweet with the question has been deleted by the user. Check out the response tweet by Gupta:
Unfortunately, without her consent, even we can’t be of any help. Nor should you do anything against her will. And if she does agree some day, you have our best wishes and blessings. #ANoMeansNo #LetsTalkCPPuneCity @PuneCityPolice https://t.co/aBrVTm0KI8— CP Pune City (@CPPuneCity) March 8, 2021
