For those who grew up watching Hindi and Marathi movies in the early '90s, Sadashiv Amrapurkar was the perfect villain who effortlessly portrayed the dark characters intermingled with comedy. The renowned actor passed away today while being treated for a lung infection.Amrapurkar had won two Filmfare awards. In 1984, he won the award for the best supporting actor for 'Ardh Satya' and in 1991, the best villain trophy for his portrayal of a ruthless eunuch in 'Sadak'.Even as a comedian his roles in movies like Gupt: The Hidden Truth, Aunty No. 1, Aankhen, Coolie No. 1 and Ishq, the actor was just as entertaining.
