On July 14th, the Congress announced their candidate for the upcoming elections in Uttar Pradesh and it was none other than their senior leader, Sheila Dixit. The former Chief Minister of Delhi, who served that post for 15 years, was defeated by the Aam Aadmi Party in 2013.
This surprising announcement was met with surprise, ridicule and humour on social media websites, but perhaps the best of all the funny memes that the internet could come up with, this particular thread. Twitter user Overrated Outcast took a photo of Sheila Dixit where is standing in her home balcony and speaking to someone on the phone, with a very menacing look on her face.
The twitter user then added different captions to all the photos, making them seem like she's warning each of the big political leaders who are contesting the Uttar Pradesh elections, and man does she look badass. Eerily enough, the photos remind us of Liam Neeson from his famous movie Taken.
So, whether it is Mayawati, Akhilesh Yadav, Amit Shah or Kumar Vishwas, everyone better stay out of Sheila's way!
