Days after the much-discussed wedding of Tej, the eldest son of RJD chief and former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav, and Aishwarya, granddaughter of another former CM Daroga Prasad Rai, the photo, posted by Tej, on Wednesday, immediately went viral on social media.

In the picture, Tej, in a white kurta, is seen smiling at his wife, who is dressed in a saffron sari. Both of them are seen sitting on a bicycle and looking quite the ‘desi’ couple.

The post-wedding photo was the subject of much adoration and admiration among his over 20k Instagram followers, who congratulated him on the wedding and complimented him and his wife on the picture.

However, not all celebrity couples’ photos fare so well on social media. When cricketer Irfan Pathan posted a picture with his wife Safa Baig on social media, he was immediately trolled for posting ‘un-Islamic’ photos of his wife.

Tej Pratap’s wedding, which took place on May 12, was attended by Lalu Prasad, who was given a three-day parole to attend the wedding from Birsa Munda Jail where he is currently serving out his sentence for multiple fodder scam cases. bihar and Lalu's rival Nitish Kumar also attended the wedding.

However, festivities were somewhat marred after ‘food riots’ broke out at the wedding following discontentment among the guests, mostly RJD party workers, who allegedly resorted to violence after being served food that was ‘less tasty’ than what was served to VIP guests.
