This year too, like the last eight years that the Obamas resided in the White House, the outgoing first family of the United States of America sent out an official White House holiday card before Christmas.

The card which features all the four members of the Obama family - outgoing-President Barack Obama, outgoing-first lady Michelle Obama, and their two daughters, Malia and Sasha - is stunning.

The picture perfect image printed on the card was originally clicked at a state dinner which was held in the honor of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

The beautiful card read, "As our family reflects on our many happy years spent in the White House, we are grateful for the friends we've made, the joy we've shared, and the gifts of kindness that we've received. We wish you and your loved ones a joyous holiday season and a wonderful new year".

At the bottom of the card were signatures of the entire Obama family and it also included names of their two dogs - Sunny and Bo - with cute paw prints.

The cards were sent out to friends, relatives, supporters and members of the media. And soon after the card was made public, it received a lot of praise and criticism on social media platforms.

While some were unhappy and emotional that the Obamas were leaving the White House, others noticed that the 'Christmas card' had no particular mention of Christmas.

Nonetheless, the fact that it was the Obamas' last Christmas at the White House had everybody on the same page about one thing - that they shall all be missed.
