The trailer for Netflix's critically acclaimed animated series 'Bojack Horseman' is out. For those who aren't acquainted with this definitely-not-for-kids cartoon show, it is the story of a horse called Bojack, who used to be a famous TV star but now several years after the show ended, has turned into a cynical, alcoholic recluse suffering from crushing depression, paranoia, anxiety and an existential crisis. The story is set in an universe where animals and humans coexist in terms of consciousness and roles in the society.
The show's humor is dark and the characters are often very manipulative, emotionally unstable and convoluted but it makes for an excellent watch. Bojack's toxic life is shared by his housemate Todd, his on and off girlfriend and agent Princess Caroline, his ghostwriter (who he is in love with) Diane and Diane's boyfriend and Bojack's rival Mr Peanutbutter, and each and every character has a lot of flaws and negative qualities. But it is these qualities that make them and Bojack somehow relatable and weirdly makes Bojack look and feel more human than anyone else.
Voiced by famous actors like Will Arnett, Aaron Paul and Alison Brie, 'Bojack Horseman' should definitely on your watch-list if it isn't already. And if you have watched Bojack's downward spiral over two seasons, be prepared to watch him hit rock bottom more and more every day. Watch the trailer right here:
