India thrashed Pakistan by 203 runs in their ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup semi-final encounter at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch on Tuesday.

While Shubman Gill lifted India to a fighting total of 272/9 from the depths of 166/5, it was the Indian bowlers who sent Pakistani batsmen back to the pavilion as the team bundled out at a mere score of 69.

Ishan Porel bagged four wickets while Shiva Singh and Riyan Parag both picked two wickets each, sealing the fate of the Pakistani team.

Brief Scores:

India: 272 for 9 in 50 overs (Shubman Gill 102 not out; Muhammad Musa 4/67).

Pakistan: 69 all out in 29.3 overs (Rohail Nazir 18; Ishan Porel 4/17, Shiva Singh 2/20, Riyan Parag 2/6).

Twitter minced no words while launching a hundred jokes and others got the perfect opportunity to take the "revenge" for Indian senior team's loss against Pakistan in the final of last year's Champions Trophy.

And there were a lot of praises and facts.

While others celebrated the spirit of the game.

India will face Aussies in the final on Saturday. Both teams have won the Under 19 World Cup three times each.
