Photographer James Crombie captured this pretty sight of starlings flying together that created a shape which looked like a massive bird.

Nature can do wonders if one can think of it. Mother earth has shown time and again how the natural components of the environment show some miracles that no human being can touch or imagine. One such magical moment was witnessed in the sky when a flock of starlings flew across the sky, forming the shape of a bird! The video of this beautiful sight is going viral on the internet, once again mesmerizing the nature lovers.

Photographer James Crombie captured this pretty sight of starlings flying together that created a shape which looked like a massive bird. This was spotted over a lake in Ireland on March 2. The photographer went to visit Lough Ennell Co. Westmeath near the town of Mullingar 50 times to get the desired shot of this view. He not just captured the perfect pictures but also took some videos of scenes that are just a treat to the sore eyes.

“I’m usually a sports photographer, so for a while I’ve had a bit of time to think about other things. I could see they were making shapes. I kept going back, to get the image I had in my head,” Crombie told the Irish Times. He added, “A friend of mine, Colin Hogg, lives near the lake, and he said to me last year that the starlings would make a great picture.”

Speaking of the behaviour of the birds, he said that the birds stay in the reeds around the lake. They take a flight together towards sunset every four to five days. It is during this flight that they form such amazingly enormous bird shapes where he got to capture them.

Cornie was awarded with Press Photographer of the year by the Press Photographers Association of Ireland last year. Indeed, he has taken some memorable shots that the bird lovers will cherish for days to come.
