Brittany Maynard posted a YouTube video where she talks about the reason why she decided to live a little longer.

Brittany Maynard showed a lot of courage when she declared that she planned to take her life on November 1 using medication. The 29-year-old woman had only been married for a year when she was diagnosed with terminal cancer.

Maynard shifted to Oregon state with her family where the Death With Dignity law is accepted. She was given close to six months to live after which she decided to take her own life by taking medication. The Brittany Fund started by her aims to spread awareness about end-of-life options.

"I still have enough joy and I still laugh and smile with my family and friends enough that it doesn't seem like the right time right now," she said. "But it will come because I feel myself getting sicker. It's happening each week."

Her condition has been deteriorating with seizures leaving her unable to communicate. She explains in this video what made her change her decision to end her life early.
