Twitter Schools PMO on Grammar After Pricey Punctuation Error
Twitterati lost their collective calm after PMO proposed to provide 'poor quality and affordable healthcare' in a tweet.
On Wednesday, while speaking in the Rajya Sabha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi castigated the Congress for obstructing his government's policies.

People glued to their television sets saw Modi taking several digs at the Congress.

However, it was a tweet from the official PMO handle (run by the office and not Modi himself) that got several people talking on social media. Incidentally, the tweet once again proved why punctuation is so important.ant.

"Let us work together in providing the poor quality and affordable healthcare: PM," the tweet read.

The lack of comma completely changed the meaning of the sentence.

What the Prime Minister meant was-- "Let us work together in providing the poor, quality and affordable healthcare." Instead, it read as if we should 'work together' to help in 'poor quality' healthcare.

Tweeple, quick on their feet, noticed the missing comma in the tweet and decided to give Modi some grammar lessons.

People demanded Modi to sack the culprit.

Soon, Modi's tweet became a hot topic of discussion on Reddit. People put up their own interpretation of his tweet.
