'Take a joke Bollywood'. This is the message standup comedians Tanmay Bhat, Gursimran Khamba, Ashish Shakya and Rohan Joshi send to Yashraj Films with a new viral video aimed at having some fun with Bollywood's tendency to take itself too seriously.

They approached YRF since they have a copyright on the content of the trailer and to request them to get in on the joke. YRF refused, and if Joshi is to be believed, not too politely either.

The AIB humorists dedicate their video to 'Grumpy Ole Bollywood' after YRF officially turned down their request to let them go ahead with a 'Dhoom 3' spoof trailer mashup.

The video opens with a morose "We made a Dhoom 3 trailer spoof but Yashraj shat on its fate, we went to ask permission and it turned into a farce, they told us drop the idea cause of the stick up their arse." It gets better.

"But Yashraj, you're no fun. Where the hell's your sense of humour?" The comedians ask. The video already has over 57,000 hits on Youtube. It's being shared on Facebook and Twitter as well. When Abhishek Bachchan, who has acted in all the Dhoom films, responded to the video saying it was 'legendary' and that he had a 'great laugh', it got YRF into damage control mode.

"Cool stuff, love the way they have taken our pants off," a tweet from YRF's Twitter handle was posted but not before Twitter users wholeheartedly embraced the video.

Though it regularly rips off South films and Hollywood stunts, Bollywood has always been quick to take offence at anything that targets it. See how the story unfolded on Twitter.
