21-year-old South African pacer Lungi Ngidi was recently roped in by Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League 2018 mega-auction. Moments later Lungi expressed his joy in a tweet, "Just listened to the #LungiDance song loving it already."

So what's with the lungi obsession? Thanks to the soaring temperatures and humidity in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Nepal, and the neighbouring countries, men (and women) ditch the usual jeans/pant and enjoy the air ventilation that a lungi provides round the clock.

A lungi/mundu can be worn throughout the year, through all climates and seasons.

Now, it seems, Zara, a Galician fast fashion retailer, got a little too inspired by lungi. They have come out with a "flowing skirt" that eerily looks like a traditional lungi.

Available on Zara's UK online store, the retailer describes the item as, "Flowing skirt with draped detail in the front. Front slit detail at the hem. Zip fastening in the back hidden along the seam."

Listed under woman's skirt section, the lungi-styled skirt costs a whopping 69.99 British pounds (INR 6200 approx).

Btw, you can buy a much cheaper lungi here. It costs only 3.20 British pounds or INR 285.
