Candidates who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for re-verification and re-evaluation. The facility to register for the same will remain open till July 14. Students, however, will need to have at least 20 per cent marks to apply for re-verification. A fee of Rs 500 will be applicable for re-checking and Rs 400 for re-verification.
The Himachal Pradesh Board Of School Education (HPBoSE) has declared the results for class 10 board exams which saw 87.5% pass percentage. This is lower compared to than last year, but it is higher than pre-pandemic levels. Last year, as many as 99.7% of students passed. It was the highest ever pass percentage by the board. But it must be noted that in 2021, the exams were cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In 2020, 68.11% passed, in 2019, it was 60.79%.

Himachal Pradesh has got its second state university in 52 years. Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has formally dedicated the Sardar Patel University to the people. Over 141 government and private colleges of Mandi, Kangra, Chamba, Lahaul-Spiti and Kullu districts are affiliated to the university which has been set up in Mandi, the Chief Minister’s home district, reported IANS.

As many as 47024 male candidates took HP board 10th exam out of which 39546 passed. While 43351 female students took the exam out of which 39027 cleared the exam. The pass percentage is at 87.5%
Out of the total 90375 students who took the exam, as many as 78573 passed. While 9571 students have failed and 1409 will have to appear for the compartment exam.

The Himachal Pradesh Board Of School Education (HPBoSE) has declared the results for class 10 board exams today, June 29. It was announced via a press conference by the board chairman and is available at hpbose.org. A total of 87.5% of students who took the exam passed. This is lower than last year but higher when compared to pre-pandemic levels.
Students will need to get 33% to pass the exam. This means they will have to get grade D to qualify the exam. Those who get below will have to appear for the compartment exam.
While the Board exams are always special, this year’s HP Board 10th was extra special as students had to take two exams. The first term exams were MCQ only and the second term exams were theoretical. The HP Board is yet to announce the exact formula. It is expected to be out along with the results.
To pass the HP board 12th exam, students need to obtain at least 33 per cent mark overall and in each subject. Students not satisfied with their results can opt for re-evaluation. Last year, 99.7 per cent of students who took the exam had cleared it.
