25 mins: Once again Sameehg Doutie has been released by a defense-splitting pass. However, the winger had strayed offside and the linesman raised his flag just as he got his shot away.

19 mins: Rowilson does just enough to prevent Sameehg Doutie from having a clear shot at goal. The winger still managed to curl one past the defender but it was a tame shot. Subrata Paul had an easy save to make there.

12 mins: Atletico de Kolkata get the first real chance to find the back of the net. Iain Hume was through one-on-one with the keeper but could not find the target there. That was a really good opportunity to take the lead.

4 mins: Mumbai City FC concedes a free kick straightaway on the right flank. Jaime Gavilan sends in a short one into the box but Sameehg Doutie misses the ball as he went to side foot it towards the goal. That could have been a bright start for the home team if Doutie could get any sort of a connection.
