New Delhi: Senior JD(U) leader Sharad Yadav was at a dinner hosted by SP MP Naresh Agarwal, which was also attended by PM Narendra Modi, when Nitish Kumar was planning his exit from the grand alliance in Bihar.

Congress leaders and members of the Union Cabinet were also at the dinner in New Delhi.

Sources told News18 a senior minister, who was in the know of the happenings in Bihar, asked Yadav what the development was. “There are some rumblings but things will be fine,” Yadav is said to have responded.

The senior minister didn’t reply to Yadav’s statement, despite knowing that Nitish was sitting with BJP MLAs in Bihar and planning his exit.
