Lucknow: After getting bail by the Allahabad High Court in the tragic incident of dozens of children Gorakhpur Medical last year, Dr Kafeel Khan has now written to the authorities to restore him on the post of Spokesperson of Paediatrics Department in BRD Medical College.

In a letter written to the Principal of BRD Medical College, dated 19th May (a copy of which is in possession of news18), Dr Khan stated, “I have been granted bail on 28-4-18 as the charges of medical negligence and corruption against me, were found false by the Honourable High Court. Also, no evidence was found against me in the tender process of liquid oxygen. Hence, I would like to request you to restore me to the position of Spokesperson Paediatrics Department of BRD Medical College, Gorakhpur.”
