New Delhi: Security has been increased in Ajmer after a post card threatening bomb blasts in the religious city was received the police on Friday.

The letter in English has been signed by a person who claims himself to be a terror outfit Harkat-ul-Jihad-al Islami (HuJI) commander.

It warns of multiple bomb blasts in Ajmer if the police continue to harass illegal Bangladeshi migrants. Security has been tightened since the rush of pilgrims will increase during Urs next month.

Rajasthan Police have been investigating the role of illegal Bangladeshi immigrants in the Jaipur serial bomb blasts that took place on May 13. Some Bangladeshis have also been arrested in connection with the case.

The letter also demands the release of all Bangladeshis detained in the state following the Jaipur bomb blasts.
