Ajmer Sharif dargah vacated after hoax bomb threat

The police recovered an unattended bag but no explosives were found in it.

Ajmer: In a security scare, a hoax call was made threatening of a bomb at the Ajmer Dargah on Monday morning.

The police immediately got the premises vacated and searched the area for over two hours. There were over a lakh were inside the pilgrims inside the premises when the call was made.

The police recovered an unattended bag but no explosives were found in it. "We got a hoax call about an unidentified object. We have conducted searches in the entire premises and have found nothing unusual," SP Ajmer Vikas Kumar said.

The situation is normal now.
