Jaipur: BJP's Rajasthan unit will celebrate the completion of NDA's one year in office as 'Jankalyan Parva' from May 26 to June 1 and publicise the achievements of the Narendra Modi-led Central government during this period.

Chief minister Vasundra Raje reviewed the preparations for the week-long celebrations at a meeting in the party office and asked the party workers to actively participate in the events and make all efforts to publicise the government's works.

All the public representatives and workers of the party will attend the functions, a release said in Jaipur, adding, party workers and public representatives will go among the people and hold meetings to tell them about the work and achievements of the Modi government and distribute written material to them.

In the meeting, Raje also said that she would meet the party workers at her residence every Friday afternoon and also asked the MLAs and MPs to conduct public hearing regularly.

The chief minister also expressed her opinion on holding all elections from Lok Sabha to local bodies simultaneously to save public money, the release said.
