Can't forget this day: Bollywood on December 16 gang rape
The incident where six men were involved in the rape of the young girl, led to protests against women-related crime

Mumbai: A year since the brutal gang rape of a 23-year-old trainee physiotherapist in the capital city, Bollywood celebrities like Gauri Shinde and Mallika Sherawat said days like this can't be forgotten.

The incident where six men, including one minor, were involved in the heinous rape of the young girl, led to several protests against women-related crimes.

Here's what B'town has to say-

Gauri Shinde: Let's please not forget this horrific day! And the bravery that followed.

Mallika Sherawat: RIP Nirbhaya, you live in our hearts, will light a candle today in your memory.

Aditi Rao Hydari: Can we never forget this horrific day, make sure it never repeats...and send love and good energy to all the brave hearts and their parents.

Kunal Kohli: One year since Nirbhaya and nothing has changed vis a vis security of women or the ridiculous law that lets 'minors' get away with rape.

Poonam Pandey: A year passed after the brutality against the brave heart! May her soul rest in peace! A Salute to Nirbhaya.
