New Delhi: Delhiites woke up to a chilly morning on Sunday with the mercury dipping to 6.8 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average. According to a MeT official, relative humidity was reported at 79 per cent at 8.30 AM. The official predicted that skies will remain mainly clear during the day. "Maximum temperature is expected to hover around 20 degrees Celsius," he said.

The official added visibility had increased in the morning as the fog cover became lighter at around 8:30 AM. "Shallow to moderate fog is predicted for Monday morning," he said. On Saturday, the minimum and maximum temperatures were recorded at 11.5 degrees Celsius and 15.7 degrees Celsius respectively.
