New Delhi: Does health issues, debt and unemployment worry you? The RSS’ Gau Sewa cell has one-stop solution to all your problems – the cow.
Taking forward the central government’s flagship National Health Protection Scheme, the Gau Sewa cell members plan to visit various temples and mutts on March 31 to spread awareness on the benefits of cow urine and cow dung. The outfit is scheduled to organise a ‘Gau Jap Mahayagya’ (cow chant ceremony) on the occasion.
According to a WHO report, India accounts for 21% of the world’s global burden of disease. Hence, the cell has decided to focus on ‘Rog Mukt Bharat’ (diesease-free India) and has also printed a handbook, ‘Srishti ki Sangrakshak Bharatiya Gai’ (Indian cow – The protector of nature), to give an impetus to its campaign.
The book has been translated into various languages like Odiya, Telugu, Kannada and has sold almost two lakh copies in Hindi. According to the outfit members, their work has been inspired by the ‘granths’. They added that the ‘Gau Anusansadan Kendra’ in Nagpur is also conducting research work to prove the benefits of cows.
“The Indian cow is a doctor itself. From its urine to dung and even ‘oxygen’ exhaled by the cattle is beneficial for us,” said Shankar Lal, chief of RSS’ Bharatiya Gau Sewa.
Besides, the cell has framed eight broad points to fight “crime, unemployment and other problems” with the help of cattle.
Lal shared some keys points of their campaign with News18.
Cancer: Presently, cancer is a major cause of morbidity and mortality in India. According to the cell chief, it can be cured by making a mixture of 20 gm of gau mutra (cow urine), 40gm water, and 25 tulsi leaves. This should be taken thrice a day with cow milk.
Mental Health: According to reports, 7.5% Indians suffer from mental problems. “But applying pure desi ghee over forehead can cure ailments like depression, and other mental health issues,” Lal said, adding that it is also beneficial for people suffering from sleeplessness and snoring.
Child Birth: The Sangh outfit claims it has made sure that women give normal birth within two hours of being treated with cow urine. “In eight years, we have helped 3,000 women to go for normal delivery. All we did was give cow urine mixed with 25 leaves of tulsi,” he said.
Tuberculosis: According to World Health Organisation report in 2017, India continues to be worst affected by the disease. But, Lal suggests, “Make a paste with certain herbs and keep it close to a cow for some time as the oxygen exhaled by it has medicinal properties. This method is really useful to recover from TB.”
Hypertension: India has shown alarming rise in cases of hypertension, but “cows on roads” can solve this problem too! “Just go and rub yourself against the body of a cow,” Lal said, adding that methods of rubbing are different for high and low blood pressure.
Miscellaneous: The outfit chief enlisted other goals like ‘karz mukt bharat’ to reduce the burden of debt by producing one’s own products with the help of cows and ‘apradh mukt bharat’ to check crimes by avoiding “milk from jersey cows and other non-Indian breeds as they make people violent”.
