New Delhi: Foggy weather conditions in Delhi and parts of north India disrupted flight and train services on Thursday.
At least 53 trains were delayed, 23 rescheduled and 13 cancelled as thick fog blanketed the Capital city. Several passengers were stranded at New Delhi Railway station, news agency ANI reported.
Also, a total of 5 flights were delayed on Thursday among which were the five arriving international flights at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA).
Due to low visibility on the runway, 5 (arrival) international flights at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) were delayed.
Reports suggest that 3 domestic flights were also delayed (2 scheduled for arrival and one for departure from IGIA) and one was cancelled.
