There are 856 rejected applications that could have resulted from duplicate or triplicate submission by the same person. Candidates must check through these Enrolment IDs to ensure there’s no issue with their valid application. In case there’s a discrepancy, the registered candidate must report it immediately to the organizing IIT - Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati (IITG).

Earlier last week, IITG had opened the option to change the Examination City on 13th November 2017 and the window was closed on 17th November.

GATE 2018 is scheduled to be organized on 3rd – 4th February 2018 and 10th – 11th February 2018 in different cities across India and six cities abroad for candidates seeking admissions to various IITs, NIITs, IISc and other Institutions in the country to pursue Master’s and direct Doctoral programs in Engineering/Technology/Architecture. Various Public State Undertakings (PSUs) too recruit candidates based on their GATE 2018 scores.

The GATE 2018 Admit Cards are expected to be released on 5th January 2018 and that is exactly the time when the PSUs will also start posting their job vacancies on the GATE 2018 IITG portal.
