New Delhi: In a shocking incident, a suspended superintendent of a UP jail shot his wife dead before committing suicide in the Vijay Nagar locality in the Krishna Nagar area of Lucknow on Friday.
RK Kesarwani, superintendent of the Meerut jail, was recently suspended for alleged irregularities.
He and his wife were admitted to the trauma centre in Lucknow, where they were declared brought dead.
The reason for his extreme step is yet unknown. The police say a probe is on.
