New Delhi: In the wake of the Pathankot terror attacks and talks with Pakistan deferred over cross border attacks, an internal security meeting was held at the Ministry of Home Affairs on Friday.
The meeting was attended by the director general of the BSF as well as National Security Advisor Ajit Doval.
Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh met Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar to discuss the modalities of the Pakistani investigation team coming to India for probe into Pathankot terror attacks.
This comes even as Gurdaspur Superintendent of Police Salwinder Singh has appeared before the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for the fifth round of questioning. Singh is being probed for his alleged role in the Pathankot terror attacks.
The Gurdaspur SP claims to have been abducted by terrorists who launched the attack on the Pathankot airbase.
Earlier, CNN-IBN had reported that the NIA was not satisfied with the answers provided by Salwinder Singh.
