New Delhi: Miss India Vanya Mishra has made it to the top 7 in the Miss Word 2012 contest. Final round is yet to happen. The other six contestants are from Jamaica, South Sudan, India, Australia, Brazil, China PR and Wales.

The contest is taking place at Dongsheng Fitness Center Stadium, Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China.

The gorgeous 20-year-old Vanya Mishra represents India at the most glamourous event in the world, and the entire country has their fingers crossed.

A student of electrical engineering, Vanya says she grew up idolising Miss World 1994 Aishwarya Rai and just like her, Vanya too took a pledge to donate her eyes. The engineering student is already contemplating a career in the Indian film industry, but only after she 'makes her country proud'.
